Gastroenterologist

We are seeking a qualified Gastroenterologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology. You must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within three years of your residency. Experience with upper GI endoscopy is required, including biopsy and foreign body removal. You should be proficient in the fulguration of bleeders, though injection of varices is not required. ERCP experience is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of esophageal dilatation and manometry is also preferred. Small bowel biopsy and both lower and upper GI endoscopies are essential skills for this role. Experience performing sigmoidoscopies is required. Colonoscopy skills must include the ability to perform biopsies and excisions of polyps. Endoscopic ultrasound and liver biopsy experience are preferred. Candidates should be willing to obtain a California license if not already licensed.
