Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Work Location: 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093 Work Schedule: Full Time Nights (7:00P–7:00A) for 36 hours per week with weekend and holiday coverage required. ICU Department Highlights Self‑Scheduling unit with 30 beds. Dedicated to intensive care for the region’s most critically ill patients. Intensivist program with board‑certified critical care physicians overseeing patient care 24hours a day. Critical care nurses, NP’s, and PA’s—trained in critical care medicine—provide round‑the‑clock care. Qualifications Diploma Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing required. BSN preferred . One‑year experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program. ICU experience strongly preferred. CLIAFE: Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency. Certifications & Training Registered Nurse (RN) required upon hire. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days of hire. Crises Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training required within 60 days. Responsibilities The professional nurse exhibits understanding of basic human needs. Demonstrates active listening and a non‑judgmental attitude, recognizing and understanding patient affiliations.
