Legal Operations Project Coordinator

The Legal Operations Project Coordinator provides operational, administrative, analytical, and project support for the Legal Department, with primary responsibility for legal invoice management, vendor coordination, and legal systems administration. Oversees daytoday Legal Operations activities and serves as a key contributor to initiatives involving legal technology, reporting, procedure development, and process improvement. Partners with Legal Department attorneys and staff, as well as other internal and external stakeholders, to ensure accurate billing and data, efficient workflows, and effective use of legal technology.Essential FunctionsPerforms daily Legal Operations administrative and operational support activitiesSupports invoice processing, including review, coding, routing, accrual tracking, and issue resolution with outside counsel and vendorsMaintains and administers the legal matter management and invoicing system, ensuring accurate matter, vendor and financial dataAssists with configuration, implementation, testing, documentation, and training for legal systems and technologyDevelops and maintains analytical reports and dashboards to support Legal Operations metrics and provides ad hoc analysis support to support strategic decision making and cost managementIdentifies process improvement opportunities and supports implementation effortsAssists with developing and maintaining applicable procedure/process documentationEnsures accuracy and integrity of data used for reporting and decisionmakingCollaborates with Accounting, Supplier Management, Corporate Technology and other business units as needed and serves as a point of contact for outside counsel billing and administrative mattersKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong analytical and problemsolving skills with ability to interpret financial and operational dataAbility to lead assigned initiatives and manage competing prioritiesProficiency with Excel; experience with reporting tools such as Power BI preferredEffective written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and confidentialityEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree required, or equivalent experienceMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in legal operations, analytics, project support, or a related corporate environmentReporting RelationshipReports to: Legal Operations ManagerJob SummaryRequisition Number: LEGAL005147Job Category: LegalSchedule: Full-Time
