Application Developer - Hybrid
Genesis10 is currently seeking an application developer for a global financial institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a six month contract opportunity.
We are seeking a talented and motivated application developer with experience in Appian, BPM, or web development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications on the Appian platform, covering the front-end UI/UX to back-end databases and process modeling.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a variety of software applications, tools, or functions for the business
- Compile business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development
- Maintain documentation for code, processes, and systems
- Support QA testing and implement fixes for exceptions
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
- Ensure security and data protection compliance across applications
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in Appian or full stack development
- Strong front-end skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
- Hands-on development experience with SQL Server or other relational databases
- Knowledge of SQL programming and ability to write and simplify complex queries, improve query performance, etc.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience with SAIL, Records, Integrations, WebAPIs in Appian
- Experience with Flask, Python
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Professional experience working in investment banking is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Pay range up to: $63.34 per hour
