Full Stack Software Engineer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; or Las Colinas, TX. This is an 18 month contract opportunity.

This is a hands-on role supporting Governance and Compliance product areas within a Technology Lifecycle Management Engineering team. You will be responsible for building new applications and microservices, leveraging tools like Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments to enable modernization and cloud adoption. You will be empowered to take initiative, propose ideas, and innovate.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering
• Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger-scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of the function, policies, and procedures
• Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
• Collaborate and consult with key technical experts and senior technology teams to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals

Requirements:

• 5 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education
• Experience with .NET Core, .NET, and ReactJS
• Proficiency with MS SQL Server
• Proven leadership qualities with the ability to work independently as well as with a team and keep commitments
• Excellent communication skills

Desired skills:

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Python

Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
