About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Neuro Telemetry (Medical Surgical/Tele)

Lubbock, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | Onsite | Weekends Required (6 shifts per 6-week schedule)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Neuro Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care facility
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4
• Float between units as needed based on staffing and patient census
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements for licensed nursing personnel
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays as outlined in contract terms
• Complete required facility modules prior to start and during orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a relevant clinical setting
• Ability to work night shifts including weekends and required holidays
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify under standard travel terms
• Background must be clear of Nursys or background check hits per facility policy
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Neuro Telemetry or Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting
• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and neuro patient populations
