Job Description 3M is seeking Machinist candidates for the full‑time 2nd or 3rd shift in Clarkston, Georgia. Benefits Pay starting at $26.25 per hour 3 weeks paid vacation + 12 paid holidays Health, vision, and dental coverage from day one Employee stock discount 401(k) match of 5% Responsibilities Use computer‑aided design software to implement solutions for obtaining desired grinding results Operate a coordinate measuring machine and other measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify work and adjust Identify and properly manage hazardous waste Participate in all safety and regulatory training needed to fulfill the duties Follow all plant safety rules and regulations Analyze the performance of equipment and tooling to recommend changes and improvements to equipment and procedures Communicate with other departments regarding quality, safety, and equipment issues Qualifications High school diploma or GED (completed and verified prior to start) Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required Excellent mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and proficiency with geometry, trigonometry, and machining calculations Complex reading of drawings and notes May be required to pass 3M elective testing as part of the selection process Work Location Onsite – Clarkston, Georgia.
