These are classroom instructional positions teaching contemporary art/design techniques.Available courses are:ARTDES 178: Exploring Animation for Non-Majors, 001 | TueThu | 5:00p-7:15p (.33 FTE)ARTDES 178: Exploring Animation for Non-Majors, 002 | TueThu | 7:30p-9:45p (.33 FTE)ARTDES 178: Exploring Animation for Non-Majors, 003 | MonWed | 7:30p-9:45p (.33 FTE)Classes begin Monday, August 31, 2026.Required Qualifications*Master's degree in art, design, or comparable field.Minimum 1 year college-level teaching experience.Demonstrated ability to teach, provide experiences for, and oversee students in their development of the skills, vocabulary, and understanding of the principles and cultural context described in each of the course descriptions. Record of active creative work, scholarship, research and/or industry or other relevant professional engagement.Ability to assess student work in a timely and effective manner.Modes of WorkPositions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment.
