Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) – Level III NICU | Carrollton, GA

Location: Carrollton, GA (705 Dixie Street)

Start Date: Immediate/As soon as available

Duration: Permanent, Full-Time

Shift: 16-hour and 24-hour shifts

Hours/Week: Varies based on schedule

Employment Type: Full-time

Licenses/Certifications: Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Georgia; Neonatal Certification preferred

Experience: Proven neonatal or NICU experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Provide advanced neonatal care in a Level III NICU with 10 beds
• Support high-acuity, critically ill newborns requiring intensive monitoring and treatment
• Collaborate with neonatologists and care teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Perform comprehensive neonatal assessments, diagnostics, and care management
• Support care delivery in a busy 20-bed newborn nursery, including daily NNP coverage
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement and patient-centered care initiatives
• Work in a newly renovated, state-of-the-art hospital environment

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Georgia
• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification (preferred)
• Prior NICU or neonatal experience

Preferred:

• Experience working in a Level III NICU setting
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including 16- and 24-hour shifts
