Location: DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital

Job Description:

The pharmacist is responsible for the preparation, dispensing, and control of medications and other pharmaceutical products. They ensure the safe and effective use of medications by providing clinical and technical expertise to healthcare professionals and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a physician
Maintain accurate and complete records of medications and patient information
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Provide pharmaceutical care and counseling to patients
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications:

Doctor of Pharmacy degree required

Licensed pharmacist in the state of Michigan

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
