Physical Therapist | Outpatient Rehab for Orthopedic and Musculoskeletal Care

Location: Pleasant Valley, Missouri
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $90,000–$100,000 per year, based on experience
Clinic Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic

Position Overview

A modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Pleasant Valley is looking for a Physical Therapist to support patients with orthopedic injuries, musculoskeletal pain, mobility concerns, weakness, and post-surgical recovery needs.

This role is hands-on and patient-facing. You will evaluate patients, create care plans, guide treatment sessions, provide education, and track progress throughout the plan of care. The clinic works with patients from 11 to 90 years old , giving you a broad range of treatment goals and clinical presentations.

The Clinic Environment

You will be part of a clinical team that includes:

• 2 Physical Therapists
• 2 Physical Therapist Assistants

The clinic uses:

• WebPT for EMR documentation

The clinic manages:

• 7–15 patients per day
• Approximately 160–190 patient visits per week

Schedule Preferences

Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days, Preferred

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Tuesday off each week

Option 2: Monday–Friday Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and reassessments
• Identify physical limitations, pain patterns, strength deficits, and mobility needs
• Develop individualized plans of care
• Provide therapy for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
• Use therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, balance work, and functional activities
• Teach patients home exercises and movement strategies
• Monitor progress and revise treatment plans as needed
• Document patient care accurately in WebPT
• Coordinate with PTAs and other clinical team members

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
• Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, patient education, and documentation skills
• Ability to work with patients across a wide age range
