Immediate start available, perfect for experienced professionals ready to make a difference.Quick Facts:Location: 2510 West Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, LA 71118Start Date: 09/08/2026End Date: 12/05/2026Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)Hours/Week: 36/48 hours rotationEmployment Type: Contract (Travel)Licensure/Certs: LA State Licensure, BLS, NRP required; ACLS/PALS preferredExperience: 2+ years, high-risk delivery and NICU/PICU experience requiredPay & Benefits:Pay Rate: $70.35/hourBenefits include:Competitive pay packagesWeekly pay schedule via direct depositMedical benefits (W-2)Referral bonus programReimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and other expensesPaid sick time in accordance with applicable laws24/7 dedicated support teamWhat You'll Do:Provide advanced respiratory care across multiple campuses in Shreveport, LASupport high-risk deliveries, NICU/PICU, and adult critical care unitsManage airway, ventilator settings, ABG analysis, and non-invasive ventilationParticipate in emergency procedures such as Code Blue and rapid responseAdminister inhaled medications, including nitric oxide, as neededSupport various ventilator models and neonatal equipment including oscillator and NeopuffDocument patient care accurately in Meditech Expanse systemWhat You Need:Valid LA State LicensureRegistered Respiratory Therapist (NRP certification highly preferred; CRT accepted)BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferredMinimum of 2 years' experience supporting high-risk deliveries and NICU/PICU patientsStrong airway management skills, including neonatal intubation and ventilator managementAbility to float between four campuses within driving distance (20-25 minutes apart)Valid driver's license and flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and call shiftsAbout the Assignment:This assignment involves providing critical respiratory therapy services across multiple campuses in Shreveport, LA, including ED, ICU, Stepdown, Med/Tele, and high-risk L&D units. The role includes supporting neonatal and adult high-risk patients, managing ventilators, and responding promptly to emergencies. You will work alongside a dedicated team led by experienced department managers, ensuring quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Orientation will be provided across all facilities within the initial days of your assignment.
