Forklift Operator - Carlisle
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with a leading logistics company in Carlisle. You will be responsible for operating reach forklifts and cherry pickers to safely transport, stack, and retrieve materials within a busy distribution center environment.
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.Shift Schedule
- Monday-Thursday, 5:00pm-3:30am, Four 10 hour shifts, 3 days off
Pay Rates
- 19.25 USD hourly
Essential Requirements
- Must possess a valid forklift certification for reach trucks and cherry pickers.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience operating industrial powered equipment in a warehouse setting.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in operating reach forklifts and cherry pickers for high-rack storage retrieval.
- Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and maintain safety logs.
- Demonstrated ability to follow strict safety protocols and warehouse operational procedures.
- Strong attention to detail when picking and staging inventory to ensure order accuracy.
Role Responsibilities
- Safely transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Stack and retrieve items from high-rack storage.
- Perform routine equipment inspections.
- Maintain accurate safety logs.
