Registered Respiratory Therapist - $26-35 per hour

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location: Detroit, Michigan (Hamtramck, Michigan). Shift: Night. Employment Type: Full Time. Hours: 8‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week, ongoing. Sign‑On Bonus: up to $25,000, based on relevant experience. Job Summary Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, this professional member of the health care team provides respiratory therapy services throughout the continuum of care. The duties include performing patient assessments, delivering therapeutic and rehabilitative procedures, administering diagnostic tests for patients with cardiopulmonary abnormalities, and collaborating with physicians, nurses and other health care team members to develop optimal care plans. The RRT may also serve as an in‑charge therapist and preceptor when requested. Qualifications Graduation from an AMA/CoARC approved Respiratory Care program; Associates degree in Science, Allied Health or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). BCLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
