Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS/RVT)

Our organization in Dallas is looking for a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS/RVT) to conduct exceptional general and vascular sonography examinations within a supportive, faith-oriented setting. In this role, you will be responsible for confirming orders, reviewing patient medical histories, and clearly communicating procedures to patients. Additionally, you will optimize ultrasound equipment to generate high-quality diagnostic images for use by radiologists and physicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify orders and assess patient history prior to examinations.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure their understanding and comfort.
• Utilize ultrasound equipment effectively to produce diagnostic images.
• Document findings accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Enhance workflow efficiency within the department.
• Engage in continuous education and quality improvement initiatives as part of a collaborative care team.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification.
• Proven experience in performing ultrasound examinations.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
