Position: Peer Support Specialist
Department : Outpatient Addictions Department (OPAS)
Shift: Monday - Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Individual schedules can be determined with supervisor and within business needs/hours.
Salary Range: $28.97 to $37.46 (hourly). There are 15 steps on our salary scale. We use a bona fide factor system to determine starting wage (years of experience, education, credentials, and specialty skills that relate to the job requirements).

Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in social services field required and/or ability to be qualified as a QMHA preferred. 1-3 years related work experience preferred. History of working cooperatively in a team. Must have a Peer Support Specialist or Peer Wellness Specialist certification by the State of Oregon or the ability to obtain certification within 3 months. Combination of education/experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered.
Summary: The Peer Support Specialist, as part of an integrated care team, will provide peer-based, supportive services to adults, children, adolescents, and families as assigned by a designated QMHP, Clinical Supervisor or Administrator. The Peer Support Specialist may be assigned to any agency program including, but not limited to: ACT, Crisis, Intensive Services, Outpatient, Jail Diversion, Wrap, Residential or Detox. Essential duties may vary per location/department/position.
