Recruiting Coordinator

Spherion WI & Northern IL is hiring a Recruiting Coordinator to support our growing Rockford office. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and helping candidates move through the hiring process smoothly. As Recruiting Coordinator, you will support the recruiting team with candidate screening, interview scheduling, onboarding, and day-to-day administrative support. You will play an important role in creating a positive experience for candidates, employees, and clients while helping our team fill positions across the Rockford market. This is a full-time position based out of our Rockford, IL office. Our office hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM on Friday. What you'll do Support candidate screening, communication, scheduling, onboarding, and follow-up Assist candidates through the application, interview, and hiring process Help maintain accurate candidate and employee records in our systems Coordinate interviews, start details, onboarding paperwork, and other pre-employment steps Create, update, and manage job postings while supporting other candidate attraction efforts, including referrals, outreach, and community-based recruiting Provide excellent service to candidates, employees, and clients Assist with general office, recruiting, and administrative support Uphold organizational values in all communication and activity What we’re looking for 1+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, administrative support, or a related field preferred Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with candidates by phone, email, and text Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strong follow-throughComfort using technology and learning new systems Professional, dependable, and service-oriented Resourceful with a can-do attitude Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship Compensation includes a competitive base salary, expected to be in the range of $43,000-$48,000 depending on experience.
