Senior Director, Field Analytics & Enablment

Role Description

The Senior Director, Field Analytics & Enablement is a member of the Field Force Effectiveness leadership team reporting into the Executive Director, Field Force Effectiveness. This is a highly visible leadership position leading a team responsible for sub-national and ad-hoc analysis & reporting inclusive of production reporting platform delivery to customer-facing teams. Successful candidates will bring expertise in industry-leading analytical practices and influential leadership working across a complex matrix environment.

• Provide strategic insights to the executive leadership team regarding field performance and effectiveness.
• Lead a team with individuals from diverse backgrounds and manage vendor relationships.
• Influence cross-functional leadership across the commercial organization to address barriers impacting field performance through data-driven insights.
• Evolve the Customer Facing Analytics & Reporting capability at Otsuka, focusing on delivering an exceptional end-user experience.
• Involve in reporting UI/UX, requirements gathering, utilization and usage analysis, and report rationalization.
• Set and achieve the vision for field reporting and ad hoc business analytics at Otsuka.
• Ensure Field Leadership support via actionable data-driven insights aligned with organizational objectives.
• Work with ambiguity and lead deep dive analytics on Business Performance in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Proactively identify key positive and negative drivers of geography-level performance across all Therapeutic areas.
• Anticipate internal and external business challenges and recommend improvements.
• Develop and establish new analytical processes and capabilities to meet stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate with other analytical colleagues across various teams to enhance analytical capabilities and insights.
• Adapt to dynamically evolving business needs and approach challenges creatively.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience across a breadth of commercial functions in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, cross-functional projects simultaneously.
• Intellectual curiosity and appropriate analytical experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively to non-technical business stakeholders.
• Ability to manage a diverse team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is a must.
• Advanced educational qualifications (Master’s, PhD) preferred.
