We support mission-critical defense and industrial programs, giving our team the opportunity to work on challenging projects where skill, craftsmanship, and problem-solving truly matter.DutiesOperate CNC lathe machines to produce high-precision metal parts according to detailed blueprints and technical specificationsSet up machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and calibrating equipment for optimal performanceProgram CNC lathes using G-code and M-code languages, ensuring accurate machining operationsInterpret mechanical blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to verify part dimensions and tolerancesConduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges,Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments to maintain efficiency and safetyCollaborate with team members on tooling selection, machine setup, and process improvements aligned with lean manufacturing principlesRequirementsProven experience operating CNC lathe machines in a manufacturing environment with strong knowledge of CNC programming (G-code/M-code)Proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints and interpreting complex technical drawingsKnowledge of machining tools, manual machining techniques, grinders, hand tools, power tools, and tooling setupAbility to use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines for quality inspectionMechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and perform basic math calculations for measurements and tolerancesStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues efficientlyMechanical aptitude combined with a commitment to safety standards and continuous improvement practicesJoin our team as a CNC Lathe Machinist where your technical expertise will drive precision manufacturing excellence.
