Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and ARDMS registration to perform echocardiogram and vascular studies in an acute care setting. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience required Registered Echo/Vascular Sonographer required ARDMS certification required BLS certification (AHA) required Must be able to perform echocardiograms with Definity contrast Must be able to perform TTE, TEE, stress echo, venous reflux exams, venous dopplers, carotid doppler, arterial doppler, ABI, pericardiocentesis, thrombin injections, and vein mapping exams Must be able to start own IV MediTech experience required License required if applicable Responsibilities Radiology department at an acute care, multi-facility regional referral center Uses MediTech EMR and Philips Epiq PACS system Equipment includes 3 Philips CVX Epiq machines, 1 Philips Ellite Epiq machine, and a Vasculab ABI machine M-F day shift, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with 40-hour guarantee Weekend requirement every Saturday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM On-call requirement of 1 weekday night with 30-minute response time to callback Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and procedures efficiently per physician orders Assist physicians with radiology procedures and support other technologists during high-volume periods Maintain equipment cleaning and supply inventory per department policy Follow on-call policy, responding to callbacks within an acceptable timeframe Participate in required hospital and department in-services and meetings Traveler-provided matching scrubs required Facility will not consider local candidates Candidates within 90 miles of the facility will not be reviewed; those between 90-150 miles may not be selected but will be considered No more than 5 days of requested time off Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-759164 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr Newsandtribune
