Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you'll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
• BLS Certification
• Registered Echo/Vascular Sonographer
• Must be able to perform Echocardiograms with Definity Contrast
• Must be able to perform Echo and Vascular studies including TTE echocardiograms, TEE, stress echo, venous reflux exams, venous dopplers, carotid doppler, arterial doppler, ABI, pericardiocentesis, thrombin injections, and vein mapping exams
• Able to start own IV
• MediTech experience

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Shift Days: Monday through Friday
• Weekend requirement: Every Saturday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• On-call response required within acceptable time frame, with arrival in the department within 30 minutes when called in
• Current equipment includes 3 Philips CVX Epiq machines, 1 Philips Ellite Epiq machine, and Vasculab ABI machine
