The Assistant Professor carries out faculty duties necessary for the ongoing implementation of a baccalaureate & master's nursing program consistent with the mission of the college. Is responsible for activities to maintain a qualified student body, a qualified faculty and a nursing curriculum which meets accreditation standards. Demonstrates scholarship of teaching and leadership through shared governance activities. Position Specifics: o Department: St. John's College of Nursing o Core Function: Corporate Services o Schedule: Full Time o Facility: St. John's College of Nursing o Location: Springfield, IL o Compensation that aligns with your experience **Education Qualifications*** Master’s degree in Nursing is required for baccalaureate program.* Doctorate degree in Nursing required for master’s program.* Evidence of degree must be obtained within 30 days of hire.**Experience Qualifications*** Two years teaching experience at baccalaureate level preferred.* Per state law nurse faculty must have 2 years clinical experience.
