Outside Sales Representative - Natural Stone Distribution

We are a fast-growing wholesale distributor of natural stone and quartz slabs, supplying countertop fabricators across the Southern United States. Our Houston-area warehouse is stocked and ready to grow, and we are looking for an experienced outside sales professional to take ownership of this territory, rebuild key accounts, and drive it to its full potential. This is a ground-floor opportunity: we already have 20+ active wholesale accounts generating steady monthly revenue, and we're looking for someone who can grow that book significantly. The more you grow it, the more we invest back into the territory — including a larger warehouse, a showroom, and support staff.

What You'll Do

• Visit and build relationships with fabrication accounts throughout the Houston metro area
• Prospect and convert new wholesale customers
• Manage sales orders and collect payments
• Quality-check and label incoming material
• Identify market trends and recommend new products
• Build deep knowledge of our supplier network and how it serves each customer
• Create email and text offers highlighting current inventory
• Source specific products to meet customer requests
• Travel to our main distribution hub roughly once a month for sales meetings
• Take strategic ownership of growing the territory long-term

Compensation & Benefits

Uncapped commission structure: 15% of gross margin on all sales you generate, with a 6-month base salary while you ramp up (based on your proven sales history). Our current sales team earns $225,000–$450,000 per month in sales at 30%–35% gross margins.

What We're Looking For

• A proven sales track record: converting new customers, growing sales and margin, and sustaining long-term relationships
• Bilingual English/Spanish*
• Comfortable using a CRM to organize accounts and buying preferences
• Strong time management and self-direction - you won't be micromanaged
• Confident, articulate communicator who can clearly explain product value to customers
• Customer-first mindset with fast, attentive follow-up
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Team player who works well within an established sales team
• A solutions-oriented, no-excuses approach
• Willingness to get hands-on, including quality-checking slabs outdoors when needed
