Senior Software Development Engineer In Test

Our client is seeking a Sr SDET to add to their IoT and Retail Hardware team. Best qualified candidates will be strong in Automated UI, component level testing, using React Javascript. And, of course, highly skilled in QA Automation, Scripting, Tools, Methodologies, Lower Environments, and both Hardware and Software. Being a strong, self-starter who knows where and how to add value to dynamic teams is a must!

Job Duties

• Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components. Working with various Scrum Teams to ensure the ultimate functionality and value of the products

• Understanding project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.

• Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms for both software and hardware.

• Investigating internal and external problems referred to you by the technical support team, testing bugs, and creating and managing bug reports.

• Working with deployments teams, consulting on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.

• Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years performing QA Automation at Sr Level

• Strong UI focus on testing using React / Javascript

• Highly skilled with Python, Java, Selenium

• Ability self-direct on high-performing, and high-function team

• Experience with IOT and Lorawan

• Familiarity with testing retail hardware (cameras, digital signage, screens, etc)
