GSU Student Position: Financial Aid Office

Responsibilities Greet students and families at the front office window Answer general financial aid inquiries in person, by email, and by telephone Assist students with completion of FAFSAs, entrance and exit counseling, and master promissory notes Filing and shredding on a daily basis Pack and mail award notifications, exit packets, verification documents, athletic documents, application packets, satisfactory academic progress documents, and other letters/packets as needed Prepare documents and cover sheets for the verification process Assist with preparation of Excel files as needed Assist with financial aid workshops, Open Houses, and other events as needed Other general office duties as assigned Qualifications 2.5 cumulative GPA (3.0 or better preferred) Interpersonal communication skills Ability to maintain confidential student information Reliability and punctuality Appropriate dress and professional behavior and attitude required Current enrollment as a GSU student Application Requirements Applicants must include a letter of interest, current resume/employment application, and names and contact information for at least three references.
