You Make a Difference by proactively reducing downtime and extending the life of equipment, Serve with Heart by delivering safe, consistent, and high-quality maintenance that supports Family Members and enhances the guest experience, Win as One by communicating clearly and collaborating with Restaurant and MSC Leadership, and Move Forward Boldly by following standards, building technical skills, and adapting to new tools and technologies to deliver effective solutions tions — Responsib iliti esAs a Preventative Restaurant Maintenance Technician, yo u will:Support an average of 40-45 resta urants.Work an average of 42 hours per week, Monday through Friday.Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, commercial kitchen equipment, beverage stations and facility systems to ensure safe and reliable ope ration.Complete routine maintenance tasks, service calls, and cosmetic repairs to maintain brand standards and support daily oper ations.Perform basic troubleshooting and inspections to identify potential issues early, escalating complex or major repairs to MSC Technicians as needed.Execute and manage assigned maintenance work orders accurately and on time using mobile technology and work order systems, in alignment with service level expect ations.Respond to restaurant maintenance needs and service requests to help minimize equipment downtime and operational disru ptions.Perform maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, and general facility systems within defined scope.Maintain parts inventory, tools, and a clean, organized work environment, including company v ehicle.Communicate effectively with Restaurant and MSC Leadership and ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company sta ndards. You’ll travel frequently to partner with Operations, provide onsite support, and maintain strong relationships with leaders and teams in the field. Success in this role requires full-time availability, flexibility to adjust to evolving operational priorities, and the ability to travel regularly including day trips, overnight travel, and extended market visits. While most travel will occur within your assigned market or region, some out-of-market support may be required based on b usiness needs.
