Accounting Supervisor

Memphis client is seeking a professional to partner closely with Plant Controllers and GMs across multiple manufacturing facilities, supporting financial reporting, operational analysis, and process improvement initiatives. This role offers strong exposure to operations leadership and the opportunity to impact financial performance across multiple facilities. Relocation assistance offered. Key Responsibilities Review financial statements for multiple manufacturing mills , including journal approvals and reconciliation review Prepare month-end reports and support financial analysis for leadership Provide accounting and finance support to plant leadership when needed Monitor and analyze capital project spending vs. budget Support quarterly reviews and annual audits Ensure compliance with SOX and internal control requirements Help drive process improvements and standardized reporting across operations Support development and mentorship of plant accounting teams Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business 5–7+ years of relevant experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment CPA or progress toward CPA preferred Experience working with plant leadership and operations teams Knowledge of SOX/internal controls preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Gateway Group Personnel
