Counsel

Job Purpose The Counsel role supports the Head of Legal by providing legal advice and hands‑on support related to contract review and negotiation, dispute and litigation management, and general legal guidance for projects in execution. Responsibilities Draft, review, and revise standard contracts under supervision. Participate in litigation and dispute management. Support contract negotiations and raise non‑standard risk. Provide timely and accurate legal advice on projects in execution. Proactively address potential litigation, claims, and disputes by reviewing with project management, risk, and others. Draft correspondence and standard settlement agreements with supervision. Support the development, selection, and management of outside counsel. General Skills Proactive self‑starter with a strong sense of ownership. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and Experience Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice in (or willing to become licensed in) applicable jurisdiction(s). 5–10 years of experience. Experience in construction law and contract review.
