About the Role As a Maintenance Manager, you will transform workplace environments by leading maintenance operations across your site and developing the next generation of maintenance leaders. In this critical role, you'll oversee Area Maintenance Managers and their teams, develop strategic maintenance programs, and drive operational excellence across multiple functional areas. You will blend strategic planning, financial management, and leadership development while navigating between managing preventative maintenance programs, coordinating with operations teams, and responding to emergencies that require quick, decisive action. You'll balance proactive planning with real‑time problem resolution while fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement. The night shift schedule is a fundamental requirement of this role. We recognize that night shift work requires dedication and commitment, and we are looking for candidates who are prepared to embrace this schedule long‑term. Successful candidates must be able to reliably work these hours and understand that shift flexibility is not available for this position. Basic Qualifications Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) full‑time exempt experience 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience 4+ years of direct leadership or supervisory experience 4+ years of managing department spend and labor budgets, performing root‑cause analysis (RCA), and implementing continuous improvement (CI) experience 4+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership 4+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience Preferred Qualifications Experience in design review process to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions to drive equipment reliability and standards Experience in automated conveyor systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
