Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring for Airplane Electronic Engineers (Associate)to join the 787 Electronic Systems (Avionics, Integrated Modular Avionics, Network Systems, & Electrical Subsystems) team located in North Charleston, South Carolina .

As a member of the Electronic Systems team at BSC, you will develop and support these systems and their components in a sustaining production environment. Project examples include addressing design obsolescence, developing product improvements, supporting production build and test, supporting new customer introduction, and supporting the in-service fleet.

Position Responsibilities:

\n
• Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
\n
• Designs hardware, software and interface specifications.
\n
• Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
\n
• Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
\n
• Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
\n
• Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
\n

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

\n
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
\n
• 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
\n

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

\n
• 1 or more years’ experience with airplane systems
\n
• Experience with Electrical Load Analysis
\n
• Familiarity with Engineering requirements: Definition / Verification
\n
• Experience with airplane certification or military specifications
\n

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $91,800 - $124,200
