Senior Associate, Origination – Renewable Energy Location: Washington, D.C. We are partnering with a leading global renewable energy investor to identify a Senior Associate for their Origination team in Washington, D.C. The Opportunity Our client is a well-capitalized clean energy investor with a growing U.S. portfolio of utility-scale renewable assets. The D.C. team is lean and collaborative — everyone is close to the work, close to the deals, and close to leadership. This role is open because people here get promoted. The incoming Senior Associate will have a direct line to the Director, own financial modeling on new investments, and be a key contributor to deal execution from day one. This is not a support function — this person has a seat at the table. What You'll Do Build and own complex financial models for new investment opportunities Develop relationships with developers, advisors, and industry participants to drive deal flow Lead the preparation of investment committee materials including investment thesis and strategic rationale Support deal execution through all phases of the transaction lifecycle Monitor market trends, commercial structures, and the broader energy landscape Contribute to portfolio reporting and governance activities Represent the firm at industry events and stakeholder engagements What We\'re Looking For 5+ years of experience in energy finance — investment banking, project finance, leveraged finance, or a financial role at a developer or IPP Deep financial modeling experience in the context of energy transactions — generation assets, tax equity structures, or infrastructure deals Familiarity with U.S. power markets and renewable energy investment structures preferred Exposure to wind, solar, BESS, or conventional power assets a strong plus MBA or Master\'s in Finance required Bachelor\'s degree from a top-tier institution required #J-18808-Ljbffr Infrassocs
