Overview Roto-Rooter is North America’s largest plumbing, drain cleaning, and water cleanup services provider. Founded in 1935, the company operates over 100 company‑owned branches, independent contractor territories, and approximately 400 franchise operations, serving about 90% of the U.S. population and parts of Canada. Roto-Rooter is hiring Outside Sales Representatives for its Excavation and Water Restoration departments. Key Highlights Unlimited earnings—average $60,000–$110,000 per year plus mileage reimbursement. Base weekly salary of $500.00 plus bonus/commission. All leads provided; no cold calls. Flexible work schedules. Top‑industry benefits. Responsibilities Proactively follow up with existing customers to deliver effective plumbing or water‑related solutions. Leverage the pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes for repair/replacement options and close sales. Serve as a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers. Excavation Sales Responsibilities Identify and sell opportunities to repair and/or replace sewer lines for residential and commercial customers. Conduct camera assessments of sewer lines to determine root interruption or breakage requiring repair or replacement. Water Restoration Sales Responsibilities Identify and sell solutions to mitigate property damage caused by water in residential and commercial markets. Perform assessments to determine moisture levels and the need for demolition and drying to acceptable standards. Requirements Valid driver’s license. Exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service. Thrives in a fast‑paced work environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Organized self‑starter with an outgoing personality. Working knowledge of common software programs. Previous experience with outside sales of in‑home services is strongly desired; all outside sales experience will be considered. Plumbing experience is not required.
