Temporary Litigation Paralegal (Six-month Contract)

A professional services firm is looking to bring on a talented Litigation Paralegal for a six-month remote contract. This is a high-visibility opportunity to step into a meaningful role, managing litigation matters, navigating regulatory requirements, and helping shape more efficient legal processes alongside a collaborative team. The focus on this relies heavily on case intake steps and the immediate processes following. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, including file setup, legal notifications, deadline tracking, and discovery support.
• Provide fine attention to detail with case set-up and processes following to attorney assignment.
• Review contracts for compliance and flag potential risk areas before they escalate.
• Act as a key point of contact for external parties on litigation and regulatory issues.
• Handle legal correspondence, service of process, and regulatory submissions with a high degree of accuracy.
• Keep litigation databases current, organized, and audit-ready at all times.
• Work cross-functionally to address document requests, internal audits, and ad hoc inquiries.
• Spot opportunities to streamline legal processes and take ownership of implementing improvements.
• Manage discrete legal projects and initiatives, knowing when to act independently and when to escalate.

What We’re Looking For:
