Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Safety, or related field (or equivalent certifications: CHST, OHST, STS). Licensure/Certifications: CSP, ASP, or other advanced safety certifications (preferred). Experience: 5+ years in construction/industrial safety, with expertise in OSHA/MSHA/DOT compliance. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Safety Management Systems (SMS), root cause analysis (ICAM), and Microsoft Office. Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement safety programs, audits, and training to minimize workplace risks. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations (OSHA, MSHA, DOT). Lead incident investigations and corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Conduct hazard assessments, safety inspections, and emergency preparedness training.
