Ion Chromatography Technical Sales Specialist

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an Ion Chromatography Technical Sales Specialist to drive revenue growth by selling analytical instruments and solutions to key accounts. The role combines technical expertise with business development, requiring collaboration across sales, marketing, and support teams in a remote position based in Texas.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize new client opportunities to grow business and revenue
- Provide technical expertise and act as trusted advisor within customer accounts throughout sales cycle
- Support account managers in uncovering opportunities and enhancing customer relationships
- Maintain technical knowledge of assigned product lines and coordinate with field specialists
- Attend customer visits to manufacturing, R&D sites, and demo centers to support new product adoption
Requirements
- 2+ years sales experience in analytical instruments or related markets
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to explain and sell technical aspects of scientific products
- Capability to travel to customer locations up to 80% including overnight stays
- Market knowledge and business insight of industry sector and key trends
- Experience conducting seminars and technical presentations
Compensation: $75,700–$113,500 base, plus variable annual bonus and comprehensive benefits
