Job Summary

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility by performing routine cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout production areas, offices, restrooms, and common spaces. This role supports daily operations by ensuring company cleanliness and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain production areas, offices, break rooms, and restrooms
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash throughout the facility
• Refill cleaning and restroom supplies as needed
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and properly
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors
• Support facility cleanliness and organization throughout the shift
• Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Previous janitorial or industrial cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and work overtime as needed
• Must pass background check and drug test

Work Environment

Requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements throughout the shift. Work is indoors in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to heat, dust, noise, and cleaning chemicals. Must be able to work in the heat.
