2nd Shift Production Supervisor

We are searching for an experienced production leader! This role requires strong communication skills, experience with multiple product lines, thinking ahead, problem-solving and an unwavering commitment to quality & customer service. The ability to multi-task while maintaining clear, positive communication (internally and externally) and adapting/contributing to this fast-growing organization, is essential in this position. Essential Functions: Production Scheduling Team Training & employee development Lead production teams Assumes personal responsibility to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for everyone Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while incorporating safety and health in all jobs and tasks Manage line equipment, employees and raw materials so that all are prepared to meet the production schedule by planning and anticipating production needs Identify problems, coordinate and facilitate meetings with appropriate groups as required to identify and implement solutions Supervise and manage employees by ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed, initiate disciplinary action and evaluate performance Conduct frequent line tours and adhere to standard work Ensure all paperwork is accurate, complete and on time Communicate with managers and other supervisors about status of employees and production Lead and conduct safety training and make sure all employees have required safety equipment Promote team environment and facilitate cross-functional teams to drive safety, quality and productivity improvements Performs other related duties and assigned by leadership Who we are: At Fresh Seasons Kitchen, we focus on delivering chef-driven, convenient items prepared with hand-crafted, high-quality ingredients. Location 10205 - 51st Ave N, Plymouth , Minnesota 55442 , United States Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience with managing production metrics Track record of improved performance Must have a minimum of 5 years operational experience in a foodproduction/manufacturing setting Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods and comfortable working in various temperature conditions Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other platforms Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Exceptional written and oral communication skills Must successfully pass a criminal background check
