Technical Support & Print Systems Specialist

Salary: $41,600 - 52,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong desktop troubleshooting and problem-solving ability, with confidence resolving computer issues independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
• Comfortable using Excel formulas, handling data, and importing or exporting files
• Keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
• Clear communication and customer service skills
• Ability to quickly learn new software platforms and business workflows
• Capability to manage several priorities in a fast-paced production setting
• Prior IT helpdesk or desktop support experience is a plus
• Exposure to mail processing systems, postal compliance, or related workflows is an advantage
• Familiarity with PlanetPress, OL Connect, or similar print automation tools is beneficial
• Experience with variable data printing concepts or template design is helpful
• Exposure to databases, scripting, automation, or systems integration is a plus

• Process mail jobs using BCC Mail Manager Full Service, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Oversee mail production workflows and help ensure postal compliance
• Build and maintain variable data printing templates in PlanetPress Design and OL Connect Design
• Support VDP projects and refine templates for better performance
• Provide first-line IT helpdesk support to staff
• Diagnose and fix desktop issues involving Windows, Microsoft Office, printers, email, network connectivity, and peripherals
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
• Record technical issues, resolutions, and recurring patterns to improve support efficiency
• Learn our print automation and mail fulfillment processes
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and expand technical knowledge over time

We are hiring for a full-time, in-person role based in Flint that blends desktop IT support with data preparation for variable data print and mail production.
