Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center and teaching facility. 228 beds and 2 CT suites available. Average daily census around 100 patients. Looking for candidates with trauma experience, including first-time travelers. Patient types include young adults to geriatrics. Common procedures involve general CT, strokes, and oncology patients. Experience with above patient types is required. Community hospital setting that encounters a wide range of cases. Support on the unit includes transporters and a lead tech, with a total of 3 CT techs per shift. Radiologist available on-site during the day and off-site at night. Management support will be provided during day shifts. Rapid Response and Code Team are available 24/7. Charting system is EPIC, with medication dispensing via Pyxis. PACS system utilized is McKesson. Unit equipment includes Cannon 80 Slice and GE 40 Slice CT machines. No floating required. Weekend rotation is dependent on requisition. Requests for time off must be approved by the manager. No on-call duties required. Holiday expectations include working on regular scheduled days. Schedules will be made by the lead tech.
