This is a rare opportunity to combine a national sales role with total account management, giving you direct influence over hotel performance and the ability to work closely with Operations, Marketing, and fellow Sales professionals. Approximately 70% of your time will be dedicated to client‑facing sales activities. Occasional travel outside of your home city may occur, but should not exceed 10% of your overall working time. Responsibilities Revenue growth from assigned accounts, including corporate/non‑corporate opportunities, and new business development Manage local B2B partnerships and sponsorships with guidance from Manager, Revenue Strategy & Market Sales, and collaboration with Regional Managers Maintain expert knowledge of market area demand generators and accounts, ensuring comprehensive account management Leverage customer interactions to explore opportunities across all 150 hotels within the company Support the Charlotte Hotels & Greenville, SC market area Expectations & Qualifications Demonstrates knowledge of sales techniques and ability to advance customers through the sales cycle Excellent business communication skills, written and verbal, with grammar accuracy Confidence in presenting to audiences of varying sizes with relevant messaging Effective collaboration with internal stakeholders (Revenue Optimization, Operations Leaders, etc.) to build trust and revenue Effective time management through structured planning and smart calendar use Confidence in utilizing multiple technologies, including CRM, Microsoft 365, and industry research platforms Education Requires a four‑year college degree. A degree related to sales and marketing is highly recommended and valued. Experience Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in outside sales and account management, specifically with regional or national B2B accounts.
