Maintenance Mechanic I - 2nd Shift

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I – 3rd Shift. The shift runs from 10:30pm to 6:30am. The hourly pay is $31.00, with an additional sign‑on bonus of $2,000* paid in two installments, subject to applicable withholding. *Bonus terms:

• Bonuses are available only for a limited time; applications must be submitted on or after January1,2024 to qualify.
• Bonuses are only applicable to specific job types and shifts; additional terms and conditions may apply.
• Associates must be employed at the time of payout.

Wellness reimbursement and more. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning machines, equipment, and small tools/parts. Perform preventive maintenance on machinery equipment to ensure proper operation and make necessary adjustments or repairs. Conduct building maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, and carpentry. Assist in maintaining an in‑house wastewater treatment facility. Operate various industrial vehicles used in material/machine moving and rigging. Assist in installation and relocation of machines and equipment. Perform simple electrical maintenance activities. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date maintenance records. Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhere to all facility environmental, health & safety guidelines, encourage communication, and cooperate with co‑workers to identify, reduce, and eliminate potential hazards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Minimum of one (1) year of recent industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience and/or completion of a maintenance technical certification from an accredited institution. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. No relocation benefit is being offered. Only candidates within a 50‑mile radius of the work location will be considered, except for Active‑Duty Military Service members who are exempt from this limitation. Preferred Qualifications Technical college certification in industrial maintenance from an accredited institution. Prior maintenance experience with industrial furnaces. Prior maintenance experience in an injection molding operation. Skills Knowledge in PLC, circuitry, and programming. Military mechanical repair experience or equivalent. Firm knowledge of CNC machines, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems. Ability to work overtime when required.
