Job Title Engineering Technician C Job Code 37457 Location Salt Lake City, UT Schedule Weekend Shift 3/36 Job Description This person will contribute to the company’s success as a fully proficient support individual contributor. Working under limited supervision, the role may serve as a resource to other employees in areas of expertise. Assignments are moderately difficult and require judgment. The individual will perform testing and debugging on a variety of LRU (Line Replaceable Units), circuit card assemblies (CCAs), and components, reporting directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor and ensuring successful test and debug of L3 products for delivery or repair. Essential Functions Perform electronic testing, both manual and automated, in a production environment Perform electrical troubleshooting and fault isolation in a production environment Assist Test Engineering with trends, root causes, and corrective actions Operate related test equipment (signal generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.) Participate in process improvement activities in both test and manufacturing Adhere to L3Harris policies and procedures, including calibration of equipment, ESD, FOD, and general housekeeping Assist in out‑of‑tolerance reporting for test equipment Work daily in a lab environment Able to lift up to 32 lbs Overtime may be required to meet deadlines Provide input to develop and maintain Test Bill‑of‑Process and Work Instructions Assist in maintaining Government/Customer Furnished Equipment Help manage tools and test equipment to support the production floor Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years post‑secondary/Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience Preferred: Fully proficient knowledge of RF and digital signals Preferred: Fully proficient in basic analog, digital, and RF circuitry Preferred: Comfortable using PC‑based applications Preferred: Fully proficient using test equipment (RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power meters, voltage meters, and oscilloscopes) Preferred: Currently possess or obtain a Department of Defense security clearance Preferred: 4+ years of experience in RF and digital signals Preferred: 4+ years of experience with signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and power meters Security Clearance Many of our positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
