PART-TIME FACULTY, NOTARY PUBLIC (NON-CREDIT)

Continuous Recruitment – Part‑time Faculty (Up To 67%) / Temporary Substitute This is a continuous recruitment for an applicant pool to fill part-time faculty or temporary substitute assignments on an as needed basis. Applications are accepted on a continual basis, and applicants will remain in the pool for 12 months. Minimum Qualifications Any bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of professional experience, or any associate degree and six (6) years of professional experience, or the equivalent. Professional experience must be as a notary public. Notary Public faculty must hold a current notary public commission from the California Secretary of State. Must have sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students. Application Procedures Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. The application packet must contain the following: Complete electronic application (contact information, education, work experience, references, supplemental questions). Copies of transcripts showing college degrees and coursework. Degrees must be from an accredited institution. Foreign transcripts must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency. Attach evaluation to each application. All requested materials are the District’s property and will not be returned or copied.
