License: Active Occupational Therapy license in hand

Certifications: AHA BLS

Must-Have: Understanding of pathology, lab values, interdisciplinary communication

Description: Start dates are not flexible. 100-mile radius rule applies. No more than 5 days of requested time off. Caseload is 8-10 patients per day. Setting is acute inpatient. Areas covered include emergency department and medical-surgical units. Scheduling consists of 5x8's with flexible weekend coverage 2-3 days per month, or 4x10 shifts (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat). There is no self-scheduling. Holidays will be rotated. Scrub color required is royal blue. Cancellation policy allows the client to cancel hours equivalent to the weekly guaranteed hours for the assignment. Charting system used is EPIC. Be aware that understanding of case types such as total joints, CVA, CHF, COPD, and sepsis is required.
