Equity Analyst, Aligned Investors

What You\'ll Do Conduct deep fundamental research on U.S. equities and industries Evaluate competitive dynamics, industry structure and trends impacting existing and potential investments Monitor portfolio holdings and identify new investment opportunities Develop and communicate differentiated perspectives and recommendations to the Portfolio Managers Who You Are 4+ years of public or private equity investment experience, ten or more preferred Demonstrated experience conducting deep fundamental research on individual companies Skills That Will Help You Stand Out MBA or CFA designation Technology sector experience Self-starter with the ability to independently drive the research process Passion for investing and alignment with Aligned Investors’ investment philosophy (applying a long-term, fundamental, bottom-up research approach to evaluating individual companies) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience interacting with management teams and industry experts Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and valuation (Excel) Fluency with applying Artificial Intelligence tools in the equity research process Willingness to travel for company visits, conferences, and research Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $141000 - $285000 / year Salary Details We are willing to hire at various levels based on years and related experience. The base salary range of $141,000 - $285,000 reflects market-specific compensation for this position across multiple job levels. Candidates will be evaluated to determine the appropriate job level based on their skills and experience. In addition to the base pay, you are also eligible for an annual bonus based on performance. Base Pay Ranges for Analyst Levels 4+ years experience: $141,000-$191,0000 6+ years experience: $179,000 - $243,000 12+ years experience: $211,000 - $285,000 Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. However, we are open to a remote arrangement or an office from one of our other Asset Management offices (New York, Chicago, Denver, or Seattle). For candidates outside of Des Moines, an initial period working in the Des Moines office will be required, followed by ongoing frequent travel to Des Moines.
