‍⚕️ Your Role as a Night RN

As a Night Shift RN, you'll serve as a trusted clinical leader while ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, high-quality care throughout the night.

You'll support the nursing team, respond to changes in condition, communicate with providers, and help maintain a calm, organized environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide skilled nursing care throughout the night
• Assess residents and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Communicate with physicians and on-call providers as appropriate
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Coordinate care and follow through on clinical concerns
• Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life
• Ensure compliance with applicable clinical and regulatory requirements
• Serve as a trusted clinical resource for the overnight team

Qualifications

• Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Confidence working independently while supporting a team
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach
• Acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience preferred
• Hospital night-shift RNs interested in a different environment are encouraged to apply
