Busy orthopedic practice seeking an experienced Scheduling Coordinator to manage complex provider schedules in a fast-paced medical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate physician and physician assistant schedules
- Align PA coverage with surgical cases and office schedules
- Manage same-day add-ons and urgent scheduling changes
- Coordinate clinic and surgery schedules efficiently
- Communicate schedule updates with providers, staff, and patients
- Maintain accurate scheduling within EMR systems
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of medical scheduling experience required
- Orthopedic or surgical scheduling experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and work in a high-volume environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with EMR and scheduling systems
- Professional, detail-oriented, and team-focused
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
