Closings Coordinator (Homebuilder)Location: On‑Site (Uptown, Dallas)Employment Type: Full TimeCompensation: $28.85 - $33.65Megatel Homes is looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated Closings Coordinator to support and manage the home closing process from contract to close. We are a growing homebuilder seeking a driven “go-getter” who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn and grow within the organization.This role is critical in ensuring all closing activities are completed accurately, on time, and with a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and experience in homebuilding, title, or mortgage transactions.Responsibilities:Set up, maintain, and manage contract files from start to closingCoordinate all aspects of the closing process with sales agents, construction managers, lenders, title companies, and homebuyersEnsure all financial aspects of transactions are complete, accurate, and properly documentedReview, process, and maintain contracts, amendments, cancellations, and terminationsTrack and maintain backlog reports and update the closing calendar, ensuring all parties are informedSchedule closing appointments and confirm timelinesProcess earnest money and option feesPrepare and review closing files for accuracy and completenessUpload and distribute all relevant contract documentation to appropriate partiesCommunicate proactively to identify and resolve issues that may delay closingsComplete tasks needed to successfully finalize closingsProvide excellent customer service to ensure smooth and positive buyer experiencePerform additional duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma or GED required1–3+ years of experience in closings, title, mortgage, or real estate transactionsStrong understanding of the sales and closing processSkills & CompetenciesExceptional attention to detail and accuracyAbility to multi-task and prioritize without compromising deadlines or qualityStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationCustomer service-focused with strong interpersonal skillsEffective time management and organizational abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Preferred ExperiencePrior experience with a homebuilder (highly preferred)Background in title companies or mortgage lendingFamiliarity with real estate closing documents and processesMegatel Homes is transforming homebuilding with innovative, master planned Lagoon communities that bring resort style living into everyday life.
