Description: Facility is a 300-bed long-term care center. Shifts are 3x12 hour days. Ratios are 1:18-20. Patient population includes individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend upon center request. First-time travelers are accepted. No floating between units is required. Consistent attendance is critical. Dependability is expected in a fast-paced environment. Modules must be completed prior to the start of the assignment. Documentation of nursing care should be timely and accurate. Responsibilities include the administration of medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and report changes in resident conditions. Supervise CNAs on assigned units. Provide nursing care according to facility policies. Organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Excellent communication skills are necessary. A positive and professional demeanor is required. Candidates should be able to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Flexibility with scheduling is preferred.
