Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and develop specialized therapy strategies designed to support them in reaching their functional milestones.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based approaches to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide well-rounded, holistic patient care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Instruct on therapy methods that empower patients and their loved ones to continue progress outside of a clinical setting.
• Track and Evaluate Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment to ensure optimal progress.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications encouraged and supported.

Required Licenses & Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT certification is mandatory.
